Samtse Tsechu

 

Our country is enrich in culture and traditions, which is very unique from any other countries and their culture. Every year, during the beginning of winter, Samtse Dzonghag is conducting a annual Tsechu where hundreds of people gather to get blessing and enjoy their time with families and friends. The Tsechu is three day long (20,21&22nd of November) for everyone to get enough blessing and have fun time. For me, I visited the only last Tsechu Day as I am doing Assignments within before 2 days. Even if I attend the Last Day Tsechu, I felt like I received the immense blessing and happiness in my mind and soul. It was so entertaining and fascinating. I felt that different mask dances with different significance are truly protection of the nation's independence. The deepest insight meaning can be vast for us to understand but the outer look of the mask dances itself flexes the true blessing. I enjoyed the day and it will be the remarkable day here in Samtse. 

Diwali Celebration in SCE.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a vibrant and joyous celebration observed by Hindus around the world. Families comes together to share delicious meals, exchange gifts, and participate in religious rituals. Diwali is holding cultural and spiritual significance, symbolizing the victory of inner light and knowledge. It is a time for gratitude and the strengthening of bond with loved ones. 

In our college, Diwali was celebrated in order to endure the rich culture of southern Bhutanese. It was on 12th of november,2023 where all the southern Bhutanese BEd and MEd students came together with full cooperation. On that day, all of them were working very hard by decorating the dinning hall and preparing snack (shelroti). This snack is considered as one of the significant to offer to god and as a gift to other people. In this occasion, at 6 pm all faculties and students gathered in dinning hall to celebrate the Diwali. Few items of offerings, songs and dances are listed in their program. It was an amazing to attend and further more we can able to experience their culture. Moreover, the shelroti was the specialty during the event and everyone is enjoying with the snack. It was an opportunity for everyone of us to experience the unique culture and endure the culture of southern Bhutan. 

 

Taste of Panel Discussion.

 Among many other lessons learnt after reaching Samtse College of Education, Panel Discussion were interesting and new experience for me. Panel Discussion serve as invaluable forum for the exchange of perspectives, knowledge, and insights. Bringing together individuals, these forum offers a comprehensive understanding of a given topic. Beyond the subject or educational aspect, it also provide networking opportunities and collaborative environment. Within this semester, I experience the taste of Panel discussion twice ( EAP101 & PSY101). The dynamic interaction between panelists not only makes the discussion but also promotes problem-solving and innovative thinking. 

Memorable Journey to Taktsang.

 28th of June, 2023, the auspicious day (Birth Anniversary of Guru Rinpoche). With respect to his honor and legacy, I plan to visit Taktsang with my family. At 4 am in the morning, mother and me woke up started to prepare meal for the lunch. 6 am in the morning, we reached to the base spot of the Taktsang. From there we started our journey with excitement and full energy. Although it was in summer, fortunately the weather help everyone of us who are visiting Taktsang with no heavy rainfall and hot sun. The weather was moderate and chill to travel. As soon as we reached there, we visited all the lhakhangs and listen to the description of each significant and precious mythic story and legacies. After that we went to beautiful and mind freshing hill top to have lunch and enjoy the view as well. Resting for about hour and sharing feelings made everyone energized to come way back. It was a truly blessing for all of us and visitors in the auspicious day of Guru Rinpoche and visiting the most sacred place of Guru Rinpoche. 

" REAL MADRID"

 

" REAL MADRID" holds a special place in my heart as my all-time favorite football club. The club was officially founded in 1902 and joined the Royal Spanish Football Federation in 1909. The club's unparalleled success, with a record number of UEFA Champions League title and rich history. The iconic white jersey carries a legacy of legendary players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane,  and Alfredo Di Stefano. The Real Madrid club won 69 trophies; a record 35 La Liga title, 20  Copa del Rey, 12 Supercopa de  Espana, Copa Eva Duarte, a Copa de La Liga and 14 UCL trophy. 

I was motivated to play football and gain passion in football because of this club's motivational iconic legends. The resilience, skills, and sheer determination displayed by the team makes every match a captivating journey for me as a devoted fan. Even the legendary players are moving and retiring, the new young stars are still holding the Club name and fame. It is getting better for the fans to enjoy the matches and cherish their emotions. 

Experience at Gedu College of Business Studies.

 

Early in the morning at 6 am, I woke up and prepared for the journey towards Gedu College for the BUSF tournament. We began our journey at around 7 am in the morning. We enjoyed our journey by singing songs, talking on various topics and kidding each other. It was an amazing moment for all of us to travel long journey with cherishing memories. On the way towards Gedu, it was cold and chilling, so often we stop on the way to have hot cup of tea and snacks. We reached there at around 2 pm in the afternoon. As soon we reached there we were welcomed with cup of tea and zaw by few Gedu students. At 3 pm basketball match were played for both boys and girls. Unfortunately, we loss the basketball match on that day. Next day, we played the Football match in the morning and volley ball match in the afternoon. Girl's football match was over by scoring 1:1, but boys loss the match to Gedu. As soon as we finished with our volley ball match, we returned back at around 4 pm. During our stay there Gedu students helped us to pick us from bus stop to overnight shed, lead us to dinning hall for meals and to the games spots. Having a tiring day and heavy long journey, I fell asleep within no time after taking shower. 

For more information, during our football match we rested and stop the match several time as fogs covered the place and it was very difficult to see each other. We players struggled to play match in the muddy football field. After the match all the players seems to like come out from paddy cultivations. It was very cold to stay there and frankly to say I didn't got a good sleep. Although, it will be lesson for future if we visit Gedu and experience that will never forget in my life.
